Resources

Library

Jarara facilitates the lending of books from their library to expose students, teachers and the community to a variety of books and text. The books are levelled for primary school students K-6. Parents are encouraged to come to Jarara and exchange books on a regular basis or Jarara staff can deliver books to students in school or at their home.

This library of books is also used for the Learning Centre, Reading Recovery, Bridging the Gap and is also made available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families within the community who do not have children enrolled in Catholic Schools.

Teaching

The library offers quality-teaching resources that can assist educators to implement Aboriginal perspectives across curriculum.

Jarara offers the unique opportunities for the wider community to access their resources.
